Introducing the FusionLabs Critical Minerals Dashboard
Critical minerals have become a central issue in national security, industrial policy, trade compliance and supply chain resilience. Yet understanding these supply chains often requires navigating hundreds of pages of reports and data spread across multiple sources.
Over the past few weeks I've been experimenting with ways to make this information more accessible.
Today I'm sharing a preview of the FusionLabs Critical Minerals Dashboard—an interactive prototype that brings together key information on strategic minerals into a single, searchable interface.
The dashboard currently includes:
- Interactive maps of global producer countries
- Leading producer rankings
- U.S. import reliance indicators
- Production and trade statistics
- Price and market indicators
- Export control notes
- Downloadable structured data
This is only the first step.
The longer-term vision is a growing collection of structured intelligence products covering critical minerals, dual-use goods, strategic technologies, supply chains and export controls. Rather than simply collecting information, the aim is to make complex datasets easier to explore, compare and use for research, due diligence and compliance.
A preview for subscribers
I've made the interactive dashboard available to FusionLabs subscribers while I continue developing it and would greatly appreciate feedback on what additional features would be most useful.
